The Iroquois Ridge Community of Oakville is divided into two distinct districts: The North District and the South District. The South District is designed to function as an integrated unit with the Iroquois Ridge North District to provide a complete range of community shopping and recreational facilities.
The Iroquois South Community is bounded on the south by the Morrison-Wedgewood aqueduct, on the west by the east branch of Morrison Creek, on the north by Upper Middle Road, and on the east by the Parkway Belt. It contains the neighbourhood traditionally known as Falgarwood.
Both districts are intended to be residential in nature, predominantly single detached homes, with some semi-detached homes and townhouses throughout the community.
The South District has a variety of amenities located within its boundaries. Some of the more notable amenities are:
Morrison Creek
Parkway Belt Lands
Parkland and Facilities
